Phoenix Union is holding a Teacher Career Fair, Saturday, February 21. Openings are available in all subject areas. Interviews will be conducted by school and district personnel.
Phoenix Union serves 25,000 high school students with 17 schools, and employs over 1600 teachers.

WHO:
Prospective Teachers or administrators, school and district representatives.
Teachers should bring resume, transcripts, teacher certification, letters of recommendation and a copy of a fingerprint clearance card. It is recommended that a completed application also be brought. Applications can be downloaded at www.phxhs.k12.az.us

Alzheimer’s Support Group and Family Forum
St. Joseph’s Hosting Alzheimer’s Support Group and Family Forum for Caregivers
Huger Mercy Living Center at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center has created an Alzheimer’s family forum and support group for caregivers. The two programs offer support and education about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia for people who are caring for a loved one afflicted with the condition. Both programs are free and open to the public. Please RSVP by calling Joy Faix at 602-406-5600.

Sandy Eastman, author of Alzheimer’s: Down the Long Road – A Daughter’s Journey with Her Mother, will be the guest speaker at the forum. She will share her experience with caring for her mother who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. A networking session and a light lunch will be provided.
