Stipulation #12 of ZA-459-08 - Brophy College Preparatory

Dear Property Owner, Resident:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the current property owner, Brophy College Preparatory (“Brophy”), has recently submitted conceptual development plans to the Development Services Department (“DSD”) regarding the proposed 10-acre sports campus facility located at the southwest corner of 7th Street and Pierson Street for Preliminary Site Plan approval. The proposed facility includes a track and field area, football field, swimming pool, weight room, practice field, and buildings to support the daily management of the campus which will be utilized by Brophy, Xavier College Preparatory and St. Francis Xavier Elementary School. The redevelopment of the site has necessitated various use permits and variances which were recently approved by the City in conjunction with the ZA-459-08 case, subject to specific stipulations.

Stipulation #12 of ZA-459-08 requires that written notification regarding the date and time of DSD meetings is sent to the surrounding property owners/residents, interested parties and neighborhood associations regarding these conceptual development plans. This letter does not require that you attend the meeting, but merely informs you that you may attend and provide input regarding these plans. In accord with Stipulation #12, the purpose of this letter is to inform you that DSD has determined that Brophy’s Preliminary Site Plan meeting will be considered on the date/time as follows:

The DSD Teamleader, Mark Sipes, is the lead contact person for this project (i.e. Project No. 08-1638) and he can be reached at (602) 534-2532 if you should have further questions/comments about the conceptual development plans and/or DSD meeting(s). Further, you may also contact the Planning Department should your questions/comments pertain to the ZA-459-08 case at (602) 262-7131 via Option#6.
